I love to travel, to fill a day with the sights and sounds of new places, but I also enjoy to step off the street at the end of the day, into a safe haven, and simply live the culture of who I am. To be in my own space and to recharge, since travel can be exhausting. Cafes often give us the opportunity to take little time-outs during the day too, whilst being a cultural experience in themselves. Mañana Mañana in Leon is one such cafe.
Leon is a fantastic colonial town on a dry plain in the middle of Nicaragua. It is colourful and picturesque, with a string of volcanoes dotted along the horizon, but it's also baking hot. Mañana Mañana is the perfect place for a caffeine hit as its coffee is excellent, but also as a refuge from the heat, and a time-out from the cultural experience. It's also just across the street from the magnificent Leon Cathedral, which is a must see. It's also the perfect spot if you need to do some life admin, a little work online, or just want to explore options for your next adventure!
