McFuji, Japan

One thing that Hokusai and so many of those past generational Japanese artists couldn't do, is create an image of Mt Fuji with a McDonalds restaurant. So I've filled that space, after all, they pass on and the culture shifts, but the legend and omnipresence of Fuji remains.

In such a modern setting, I wanted to hint at the Japan of old with a cloud shaped like a dragon. After all, in the context of human history, Mt Fuji has always been there, grand, mythic and timeless.
