Juayua is a popular destination on La Ruta de Las Flores (The Flowery Way) in El Salvador and is surrounded by quality coffee plantations with more than a couple volcanoes on its horizon line. Follow a trail beside the River Sensunapan and enjoy the series of waterfalls along it, or take a refreshing dip in a natural pool. On weekends, the Juayua central square turns into a food market, with lots of fresh produce and the smells of meat barbecuing. Grab a full meal and eat it at a table in the shade, while enjoying the social atmosphere of a town come to life.
