Playa Cocles 5:23pm

Late in 2021 I took a little break from the mandalas to create a set of 9 drawings of Playa Cocles that had been building in my mind. I knew there would be time in the future when I'd be grateful for having drawn them. In 2020 I’d taken so many different photos of the beach at sunset, a few at sunrise, and seen so many faces, moods, variations that I felt I should mark some down. I’ve used a lot of artistic license with this one… but it still feels like the beach.
