Zebras in the burbs of San Jose, Costa Rica. Saul is a pretty awesome cafe/restaurant in Barrio Escalante, the gastronomic neighbourhood of Costa Rica's capital. I never ate there, not because the menu was unreasonably priced, but because my travel budget couldn't justify. Apart from the unusual surrounds, it was the coffee I kept going back for, in an area full of great cafes.
I dunno what the zebras are about, but I like it. Grazing in the front garden, trying to get inside, dancing on the rooftop. The walls within are full of artworks with that same theme, black and white and stripes. Why not I guess? A shiny, black car lives at the front entrance with colourful leaves painted on it... and a tower of Heineken bottles. Why on earth not?
